COMING
SOON: TESOL CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
We will be offering a certificate program in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) starting September 2008. This program will focus on the development of effective classroom teaching techniques for teachers of non-English speaking countries and non-immigrants in the U.S. The program will be designed for people from any educational background to gain a sound theoretical foundation plus hands-on classroom experience. Depending on their previous knowledge and usage of the English language, students will finish this certificate program in 6 to 9 months. We recommend this program to college graduates from all around the world who are currently working in the English-as-a-Second-Language field as well as those who want to change from their current field to TESOL. Recently, in many parts of the world people are changing their fields from Technical to Teaching for different reasons. The TESOL certificate program is a perfect choice to make this change a success. With the TESOL program, you do not only become a teacher but also get a chance to travel the world while you are teaching.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION LEVEL 2
We added a new level to our successful ECE program. ECE Level 2 courses will help the current preschool teachers by giving them the academic knowledge and hands-on experience in our own laboratory of preschool children. We will still offer our teacher discounts, easy-payment plans and placement services.
MULTI-LANGUAGE COURSES
In addition to English as a Second Language, this spring we are also offering short term evening language courses in the following languages:
Spanish, Turkish, Korean, Farsi, Japanese, Hindi and Chinese (Mandarin)
COLLEGE PREPARATION FOR INTERNATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
We will still be offering a special Study/Tour program for High School students coming this summer. They will be studying ESL in the mornings and touring educational and fun places in the afternoons and weekends. This program will also help them to have an idea about colleges and universities in the U.S. This year we are hoping to host students from Turkey, Korea and Taiwan.
